Hatz AI, the AI operating system used by almost 1,200 MSPs to build AI-as-a-service, today launched a management control plane for its partners.
Hatz AI describes Hatz Activate as an AI command center that makes it easier for MSPs to sell to customers. Hatz Activate is built into the Hatz panel. MSPs connect their PSA system or upload customer data and Hatz generates industry specific use cases for each client. Hatz Activate provides a unified customer view in one table.
The Hatz AI platform can run shadow AI reports to flag risky AI usage, AI readiness assessments to help clients understand where AI fits their business, and dispatch tailored invites in a few clicks. Its dashboard tracks every activation. The goal is to help MSPs and their customers decide on the best uses for AI.
“As MSPs get started on their AI journey for the first time, they have to figure out how to talk to customers about it — where the opportunities are, where the risks are,” Hatz AI founder and CEO Jimmy Hatzell said. “The number one thing I see new MSP sales teams struggle with is how to talk about AI in a way that's simple and concrete enough for a customer they've worked with forever who has no real idea what it is or what to do with it. Activate is our solution to that.”
Jimmy Hatzell
He said Hatz AI has been working with partners for two years to help them build use cases to sell AI.
“Now an MSP can connect their PSA, and AI agents will research risks around AI and identify concrete ways a business can use it — not pie-in-the-sky stuff, but things like ‘We could build this workflow right away,’" Hatzell said.
PCH Technologies CEO Tim Guim, whose MSP was among the first handful of Hatz AI customers, said Hatz Activate makes it easy for MSPs to deploy AI across their entire customer base in a controlled fashion. PCH ranked No. 199 on the 2026 MSP 501, and Guim said it generates AI revenue from around 20% of its customers. He said Hatz Activate works “as an easy button” for MSPs to deploy AI across their customer base.
“Activate lets you attach your PSA, bring all your clients in, and just click for information,” Guim said. “Say I want to see use cases for this vendor or run an AI assessment. It's a step-by-step recipe for MSPs. You just follow the steps in the Activate platform. I had it activated within 10 or 15 minutes, working with my engineer.”
Tim Guim
MSPs can use Hatz instead of building their own AI platform. Hatz supports most AI models, and Guim said the platform allows customers to find the best AI model at the best cost.
Hatz Activate is a plug-in to its platform at no additional cost to MSPs.
“This is built for MSPs in their administrative console,” Hatzell said. “They can load their customers in, and it helps them identify use cases, run assessments, and then supports both the sales process and the ongoing management of customers.”
