Today, we reveal MSP Summit’s 2026 MSPs to Watch. This list celebrates 130 exceptional MSPs who have mastered the MSP business model and executed at the highest operational levels. They were evaluated using the same rigorous methodology as the MSP 501—examining revenue mix quality, recurring revenue percentage, revenue per employee efficiency, and year-over-year growth. They met the same exacting standards that define world-class MSPs.
The only difference between the MSP 501 and MSPs to Watch is revenue scale. The MSPs to Watch missed the MSP 501 revenue cutoff, which changes every year according to the average revenue of the applicants. But revenue size alone doesn't tell the full story of an MSP's quality, capability, or potential. Many MSPs to Watch companies actually outperform larger MSP 501 organizations in key metrics—higher recurring revenue, stronger growth rates, better efficiency, and more innovative services.
This year’s list is a strengthened and elevated initiative recognizing the exceptional managed service providers that demonstrate world-class operational performance and strategic vision. This prestigious designation celebrates organizations that have mastered the MSP business model, execute at the highest operational levels, and represent the future of managed services in an AI-dominated channel.
The 2026 MSPs to Watch list includes MSPs that made the 501 in past years but missed the revenue cutoff as both the number of MSPs and the average revenue increased for the 2026 list. It also includes MSPs still in their relative infancy but growing fast with sound fundamentals. In either case, we expect companies on the MSPs to Watch list to join the MSP 501 in the future or become absorbed into larger portfolio MSP groups.
The MSPs to Watch companies are successful for the same reasons as the MSP 501 winners.
“We’ve been very intentional about building a business that prioritizes operational excellence, meaningful client outcomes, and forward-thinking solutions, so it’s rewarding to see that effort reflected in this distinction,” said Bob Paradise, CEO of Providence, RI-based Attain Technology.
“It's a meaningful validation of the work our team puts in every day and we're incredibly proud of this achievement,” Always Beyond CEO Shawn Freeman said.
Julian Gelfland, Freeman’s Always Beyond co-founder, added of the Canadian MSP: “We're pretty obsessed with process and relationships. Our name is Always Beyond because we believe we're always striving to go beyond -- beyond in service, beyond in quality, beyond in automation, and beyond in process.”
Stacy Rose, CEO and founder of Kansas City-based Purpose Technology Group, said her MSP has grown from $1 million in revenue to nearly $3 million in 18 months by emphasizing client relationships and strategic involvement.
“We have found that our name Purpose aligns with where we find our niche to be, and that's in the non-profit and community space,” she said. “We decided last year to lean into that niche. What we found is when we stopped chasing everything out there as it related to clients, the right clients started finding us. As we look at our growth moving forward, we recognize that industry vertical is critically important to us, and that's where we really found the most growth last year.”
Scotland-based Texaport also has a name that describes what it does. (If you don’t get how clever the name is, say it aloud.) Texaport founder Hugh Caldwell said his MSP, which considers 300-seat to 500-seat customers its sweet spot, expanded geographically in the last year as its clients expanded internationally.
“We're now having much bigger conversations with bigger customers,” Caldwell said. “Last year was especially great. We've been pulled internationally by some of our big clients going through mergers and acquisitions, and very graciously asking us to scale with them. They’re saying, ‘we love your U.K. support offering, we need your support in Australia and the Americas, etc. So we quickly had to expand and find some engineers overseas. Now we have a bunch of engineers in APAC and LATAM. It was important to us to have Texaport employees and not do any outsourcing. They are our people, our methodologies and training.”
Unlike the MSP 501, we don’t rank the MSPs to Watch. They appear alphabetically in the list below.
